It was less than a month ago that 49-year-old Steven Davis promised an NYPD officer he was done with a life of crime after a cop saved his life.
The alleged robber made the promise after he allegedly stole about 50 pounds of the nutritional drink Ensure from a CVS after taking a swing at a few employees. While fleeing the scene he ended up having a heart attack. The officer that helped give him CPR was the one he promised to never commit a crime again.
Well, this time, he allegedly assaulted a Duane Reade employee while attempting to take five cases of Modelo beer on Monday night.
