Anyone who’s lived or visited New York has likely seen a few rats running around the streets or in the subways. But believe it or not, the Big Apple isn’t the worst city in America when it comes to vermin!
Pest control company Orkin has just come out with their annual list of the 'Top 50 Rattiest Cities' and there’s actually one big city that rivals New York...and that’s Chicago. In fact, this is the fifth consecutive year the Windy City has ranked first when it comes to rats.
The company determined their list based on the number of rodent treatments they’ve handled between September, 2018 and September, 2019, and not surprisingly a lot of big cities made it into the Top Ten including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia, with Atlanta and Minneapolis also breaking into the Top Ten this year.
