NYG 24 WAS 3: Rookie Haskins (Finally) Replaces Ineffective Keenum

Daniel Jones worked his magic, again, and Saquon Barkley's backup—second year man Wayne Gallman—scored these two touchdowns as the suddenly revived New York Giants claimed a 24-3 victory over the winless Washington Redskins on Sunday.

The G-men also scored a third TD when Jabrill Peppers scored on a 32-yard interception of Dwayne Haskins.

Yes, I said Dwayne Haskins, whom head coach Jay Gruden finally put in early in the game, just one series after Case Keenum missed a wide-open receiver for a touchdown.

Haskins did drive the Redskins down the field on his first drive for the team’s only score—a Dustin Hopkins 21-yard field goal—but he mostly struggled, going just nine of 17 for 107 YDS while throwing three interceptions.

I have a feeling he’ll be back next week.

I have a feeling Gruden will not, as the Redskins' 0-4 start is their worst since losing their first five in 2001.
