While plenty of people love their cars, a lot of folks in this country rely on busses and trains to get them where they need to go, and there’s no doubt not all public transportation systems do a good job of that.
Well, now WalletHub has come out with a list of the cities with the best public transportation systems in the U.S., ranking 100 cities across 17 key metrics, in areas of accessibility and convenience, safety and reliability and resources.
Topping the list as the city with the best public transportation is Seattle, Washington, which scores a 77.97 out of 100, landing at three for resources, six for safety and reliability and seven for accessibility and convenience. San Francisco, which lands at three overall, is tops for accessibility and convenience, while Madison, Wisconsin, fifth overall, is tops for safety and reliability.
