A 12-year-old boy is recovering after he was shot in Yonkers over the weekend.
The boy, identified as Denim Jones, was hanging out with a group of kids outside a building on Highland Avenue early Sunday morning when a car pulled up to them. Two suspects got out of the car and each fired a shot.
Jones was struck in the neck and injured.The suspects fled in the car.
Jones is listed in serious but stable condition and is expected to recover. The two suspects remain on the loose.
