Brooklyn Police are asking for help in tracking down a man who robbed a couple at gunpoint on Kingsland Avenue near Woodpoint Road in Williamsburg.
According to an article posted on cbslocal.com, the robbery was caught on surveillance video collected from a store near the crime scene. In the video, the man brandished what appeared to be a gun.
The crook made off with the woman's purse, a watch and eighty dollars in cash.
Local resident Megan Penmann said, "On this side of the street, it's a lot of families, it's residential. But you have warehouses and things over there. So I guess you never know who's coming in and out of some of these buildings."
The man was last seen fleeing the area in a gray car.
The NYPD asks anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or submit a tip via Twitter @NYPDTips.
