Ronell Watson was found guilty of attempted murder for shooting Federal Agent Christopher Harper during a drug deal that went wrong on December 9, 2018.
Watson, an alleged member of the Crips gang open fired on the FBI agent as he sat in his car outside of a suspected drug dealer in Canarsie Brooklyn.
Surveillance video of the shooting shows Watson driving his BMW the wrong way down a one way street towards agent Harper's car. When the gangster pulls up to Harper, he hops out of the car and starts shooting into the vehicle.
Footage obtained from the agent's body camera captured Harper telling the responding NYPD officers that he was in bad shape after getting shot in the back.
According to an article published in the New York Daily News, agent Harper can be heard saying, "Where's the effing ambulance, there's no exit wound, the bullet's in me. I'm not doing well…just take me to the closest hospital, I'm begging you!"
