A shooting during a drug bust in Ardsley, New York has left two police officers injured and a suspect dead.
Ardsley police were assisting the FBI in a drug raid at the Ardsley Acres Hotel Court late Monday night when gunfire was exchanged.
“As the officers approached the motel, a suspect came out of the room and engaged the officers in gunfire. Multiple shots were exchanged between the officers and the suspect,” Police Chief Anthony Piccolino said.
The 43-year-old suspect died at the scene. Two officers have been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
