Empire State Building Green Last Night Honoring Tiger's Masters Win

It was only fitting that just one day after Tiger Woods lit up the greens at Augusta, one of the greatest buildings in the world would return the favor.

And that would be the Empire State Building which was glowing green last night in honor of Tiger’s Masters Tournament victory.

In addition to the “Masters green” that was singing along the New York City skyline, a red was also glowing in the mast of the building to honor his fifth win at Augusta National.

And speaking of buildings and national treasures, it is my sincere wish that as some point in your life you were lucky enough to see the incredible one we lost yesterday in Notre Dame.

Get your kids out to see art, for God’s sake.

My mother’s favorite poem was Longfellow’s Psalm Of Life and a line I know by heart to this day echoes…

“Art is long and Time is fleeting

And our hearts though stout and brave,

Still like muffled drums are beating

Funeral marches to the grave.”
