Mayor Bill de Blasio traveled to Nevada over the weekend as he considers a run for president.
The mayor’s frequent out-of-city trips in recent week has led to speculation that he’s going to jump into the campaign. De Blasio has said that he hasn’t ruled out a run for president.
Officially, Mayor de Blasio said the trips are designed to talk about his accomplishments in New York City, including health care for all and universal pre-K. However, many see it as a trial for a possible presidential run.
In addition to Nevada, Mayor de Blasio has also traveled to Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
