What was supposed to be a fun bus trip from Orlando to New York City took a very dark turn yesterday in Virginia. Officials say two people are dead and dozens are hurt after a chartered bus crashed on Interstate-95 in Virginia.
Virginia State Police say the bus driver – who has been identified as 40-year-old Yui Man Chow of Staten Island – attempted to exit and ran off the road near Prince George. And according to reports? He was taking the exit too fast – and that’s what caused the crash. As such, Chow has now been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Witnesses say the bus "swerved like a roller coaster" and then rolled “five or six times” – on passenger comparing it to being in a washing machine. While all of the surviving passengers were injured, some still remain in the hospital this morning.
