The lineup for this year’s Tribeca Film Festival has been announced. Why do you care? Among the 103 titles are films by Jared Leto, Margot Robbie,and Christoph Waltz, with actors like Elijah Wood, Alec Baldwin,and Billy Crystal making appearances on the big screen.
Some of the notable premieres include:
- “The Apollo,” a documentary about the historic New York theater featuring interviews with the likes o fJamie Foxx, Patti LaBelle and Pharrell Williams.
- “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile,” a film about the Ted Bundy trial starring Zac Efron.
- “Dreamland,” a film set in Depression-era Oklahoma starring and produced by Margot Robbie.
- “Moving Parts,” chronicling “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Trixie Mattel’s rise to fame.
- “After Parkland,” a documentary about the lives of the survivors and families of the tragic 2018 shooting at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school.
