NYPD officers have shot and injured a suspect in Harlem.
Cops were called to the building on West 114th Street on Tuesday after reports of a man with a gun. When officers arrived, they encountered the suspect on the fourth floor of the apartment building.
“The subject stated that he had a gun, took a shooting stance and pointed an object at the officers,” Chief of Patrol Rodney Harrison said.
An officer fired three shots, striking the suspect. The suspect is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
