FDA Recalls Peaches, Plums, Nectarines Due To Listeria Concerns

If you’re a produce fan, heads up.

The FDA is recalling peaches, plums and nectarines stemming from a New York produce company due to Listeria concerns. The company, Jac Vandenburg Inc, recalled more than two-thousand cartons of the fruits. The affected fruit has reportedly been distributed in more than a dozen states and at stores including Aldi, Walmart, Costco, Hannaford, and Market Basket.

The PLU stickers show the numbers 4044, 3035, 4378.

So far, there are no reports of illness. Anyone who has purchased the fruits is urged to return them to store where you bought them.
