Somebody must really love deli meat because police in New York are looking for a guy who made off with a very expensive piece of deli equipment. It appears that one man walked off with a $7,000 deli meat slicer after breaking into a warehouse in the Bronx on Christmas morning.
A video shows the man scaled a wall to get inside the 200,000-square-foot warehouse and walked out with the slicer. Police think it was an inside job.
“Somebody’s friends with somebody,” said a worker, who asked not to be named.
“You gotta know exactly where to go in, where to get it, go in, get out. He had info.”
The slicer belonged to a distribution center for online grocery orders from Jet.com that had just opened in the fall.
