Computer Software Designer Found Dead at Google's NYC Offices

A promising young computer software designer was found dead at his workstation this weekend at the New York headquarters of Google.

22-year-old Scott Krulcik was thought to be catching up on work when he was found unconscious by a member of the buildings cleaning crew.

After EMS workers arrived on the scene Krulcik was given CPR for several minutes before he was pronounced dead.

Police who answered the 911 call told the New York Post that the body of the young man did not show any signs of trauma.

After talking with Krulcik's roommate police said the young man had no history of medical issues or drug problems. Krulcik's neighbors told investigators that he was first hired at Google as an intern in 2016 and then was hired on as a full-time software designer when he graduated from Carnegie Mellon in May of 2017.

The cause of death is yet to be determined by the Medical Examiner's office.
