An off-duty New York City police officer was injured on Tuesday morning in a shooting in the Bronx.
The officer was in a vehicle with another off-duty officer when they apparently got in the middle of a shooting at 138th Street and Brookhaven Avenue in the Mott Haven section.
The officer was not the intended target, but they were grazed in the left shoulder. The officer was treated at the hospital and released.
The gunman remains on the loose.
