Governor Cuomo still hasn’t received the endorsement of Cynthia Nixon, a week after beating her in the Democratic primary.
A top Nixon aide told the New York Post that Cuomo first needs to apologize for the controversial mailer that accused her of being silent about anti-Semitism
Rebecca Katz said that before Democrats can be truly unified, Cuomo must take responsibility for the mailer which she called “untrue” and “vile.”
“It’s not just that it’s bad,” Katz said. “it’s that they keep lying about it.”
Cuomo received the endorsement of another Democratic rival, Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday.
