- The Mets first inning was one of the strangest of this young season. After Asdrubal Cabrera doubled, Reds Manager Jim Riggleman approached the plate and alerted the umps that the Mets had batted out of order. An embarrassing scene that took the hit away from Cabrera and meant that Jay Bruce who didn’t even get to swing, was out!
