96-year-old Catherine Nixon verbally unloaded on Mayor de Blasio Wednesday night at a town hall meeting in East Harlem.
Ms. Nixon took the Mayor to task over the cracked and bumpy sidewalks in her neighborhood, which makes it hard for her to navigate with her walker.
Nixon drew laughs from the crowd when she said the sidewalks are in such disrepair that she's had to replace 3 walkers.
The Mayor told the elderly woman that he'd follow up on her complaints but that didn't stop the onslaught, the woman yelled: "we need repairs now." "We need more inspectors."
The mayor did not promise any uptick in municipal services during the meeting.
