Mike Francesa made his first appearance on New York radio since leaving back in December on Tuesday night with Sal Licata in the WOR Sports Zone. The two covered a lot of ground and told some fun stories about their time working together at another radio station.
In the first segment together Mike and Sal caught up on some stories Mike has missed since December, talked about how Mike is enjoying retirement and Mike gave hints about his future.
After the break, Sal asked Mike about his good friend Bill Parcells and the recent documentary "The Two Bills." Mike then broke some Mets news regarding Yoenis Cespedes and Juan Lagares.
Sal then told Mike a story about Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo getting into a fight with a former Giants lineman. Mike also started taking calls and got into the amount of baseball free agents still available.
Mike finally spoke about the Yankees as a caller asked about the outfield situation with so many different options. He also spoke about the Giants and Jets quarterback situations.
In the final segment with Sal and Mike Francesa, producer Joe 'Baboots' Curci asked Mike his thoughts on Eagles Center Jason Kelce and his speech at the Super Bowl parade. Mike did not disappoint with his opinion.
