Mixed Results For New York Football

Following week 10 of the NFL season, the two New York football teams boast similar records but have taken very different routes to make it there. The Giants continue to collapse in the 4th quarter, and the Jets seemed to remember how to play after giving up on the season. Warner Wolf, legendary sportscaster, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about both teams and how big this recent loss for the Giants really was.

“[The Giants] lost more than just a ballgame; Jaxson Dart, concussion, will miss Thursday nights game against the Packers,” Wolf told host Larry Mendte. “Their offense played well enough to win, but that once reliable defense gave up almost 400 yards.”

Wolf also took aim at the leader of the Jets following their fire sale last week: “Stooge number two, the 2-7 Jets coach Aaron Glenn, who at the beginning of the season said I want to field a Jets team that the fans can be proud of; now nine weeks later, after trading off two of his best defensive players said, I never said the fans would be proud of them right now.”
