A recent poll by Honan Strategy Group went deep into what Democratic voters are looking for as the Mayoral elections for New York City get closer. The results of the poll showed that voters are leaning towards former Governor Andrew Cuomo as their top choice. Bradley Honan, President and CEO of Honan Strategy Group, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about the findings of his company’s poll and why Cuomo is in the early lead.
“Cuomo has a resounding lead of 45% of voters believe he’s the candidate best able to address crime; Mayor Adams, a former police officer, he’s only at 12%,” Honan tells host Larry Mendte. “He’s in a very very strong position if he decides to enter the race.”
Honan responded to claims that the former NY Governor paid for the poll: “We surveyed people and we did this poll on our own dime as we have done with other polls in the past.”
