What Does The Future Hold For Eric Adams?

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has faced a lot of turmoil over the last few months after being indicted on bribery and corruption charges late last year. Through it all he has refused to step down from his position as Mayor, and may have found a second life with the latest reports of the justice department potentially dropping charges. Rob Astorino, WOR and NewsMax host, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about Eric Adams and his current public perception.

“He’s got a black cloud over his head, he’s like a dead man walking,” Astorino told host Larry Mendte. “You gotta shake that, otherwise you’re basically the mayor in name only and you can’t have that especially going into an election.”

Astorino believes that Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi may look favorably on Eric Adams: “[If] they feel that [the charges] were trumped up, and the DOJ did have an arrow on Adams for whatever reason, then I think they would drop them.”
