Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday is announcing a new round of budget cuts to deal with the increasing cost of the migrant crisis.
"This is probably one of the most painful exercises I've gone through," Adams said.
The migrant crisis has continued to worsen in the city, with very little financial help from the federal government. The mayor warns that every agency will be impacted and millions of New Yorkers will be hurt.
"It's going to be extremely painful for New Yorkers, and that is why we continue to say we need help," Adams said.
