A recent spike in Covid cases in New York has Governor Kathy Hochul sounding the alarm.
“At some point, if the numbers don't start on a downward trend, we're going to have to talk about larger protocols, which we all know are available to us,” Hochul said.
The governor is worried about a winter surge as people head inside to escape the cold weather. She also told people to know the vaccination status of their Thanksgiving guests.
“I want to celebrate Thanksgiving safely. I want to know that when we get together that we're not going to get one of our loved ones sick,” Hochul said.
