Mayor Bill de Blasio is refusing to dismiss a report that he could run for governor.
The New York Times says he’s telling people that he’s planning a run and has already begun reaching out to potential campaign staffers.
“I've talked to a number of people to say, I want to continue in public service. There's a lot to do,” de Blasio said.
The mayor’s term in office expires at the end of the year.At the same time, there’s a race for governor next year.
“I got a lot to offer. I want to do more in public service, how that's going to play out there's time to figure out, but that's my goal,” de Blasio said.
