Proof Of Vaccination Requirement Begins In New York City

Beginning on Monday, New York City is beginning to enforce the requirement that people show proof of vaccination for many indoor activities.

This includes things like indoor dining, indoor entertainment venues and gyms. People will have to show their vaccination card, a copy of the card, or an app like New York’s Excelsior Pass in order to be allowed inside.

The policy has been in place for about a month, but it’s now being enforced by the city. Inspectors from 13 agencies will be going around the city to ensure the rule is being followed.
