The fate of Woodstock 50 is still up in the air, but a judge has ruled that the festival can still go on despite investors Dentsu announcing its cancellation. Of course, money will still be an issue, and the judge in the case didn’t help organizers in that area.
While the judge’s 10-page decision does side with Woodstock founders' argument that Dentsu didn’t have the right to cancel the festival, the judge did not order the investors to return the $18 million the founders claim they stole.
Without the money, Michael Lang and his partners currently have no more money to fund the festival, which was supposed to take place in August, but he insists it will still go on.
