ISIS Leader First Video Appearance in Five Years

Sure, he’s been reported as dead a number of times, but it looks like ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is very alive…and very well. If the video is authentic, it would be the first appearance from Baghdadi since July of 2014.

Appearing in his first video in nearly five years, Baghdadi is seen praising the group he says is responsible for the series of attacks on Sri Lankan churches and hotels.

Don’t forget, that ISIS has also claimed responsibility for the attack that left more than 250 people dead. The video published on the terrorist group's media outlet shows Baghdadi seated on a rug with a machine gun next to him.

If alive, Baghdadi is one of the most wanted men in the world. The U.S. is offering a reward of up to $25-million for information leading to his location.
