As we look ahead to the 2020 presidential campaign, we know to things: there are 20 Democratic candidates…and President Trump isn’t concerned about any of them. In fact, his 2020 campaign manager is promising a "bigger, better and badder" race this time around.
Brad Parscale tells CBS' “Face The Nation” that the Trump campaign plans to rally up one-point-six-million volunteers, compared to the 700-thousand it had in 2016. Parscale notes this time around, Trump has the backing of the Republican Party along with its war chest and data operation.
Parscale worked as the digital media director during Trump's campaign in 2016 and says the president will be victorious based on momentum from that election. But he knows there are challenges – saying there are some key states Trump will have to win including Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He says they plan on being in Minnesota very soon and in the future will put some focus on New Mexico, New Hampshire, Nevada and possibly Colorado.
