World War II Veteran To Be Remembered

A funeral is being held on Friday for a World War II veteran who was nearly forgotten.

Bob Graham, 97, passed away without much attention at a nursing home in Cortland Manor. His wife had passed away previously and he had no living family members.

But while at the nursing home he had become good friends with 27-year-old Beth Regan, who used to volunteer there. When she heard that Graham passed away, she began spreading word on social media about the decorated Marine.

Now, he’s set to receive a funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak, New York.It will include a police escort from the funeral home and it will be followed by a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.

Regan will be a guest of “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning” on Friday.
