President Trump is vowing to fight back against every subpoena issued by Democrats in the U.S. House. Talking with reporters at the White House, Trump also called Democratic investigative efforts “nonsense” and proclaimed that his administration has been “the most transparent in American history.”
Trump also argued that the probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller was the most thorough investigation in U.S. history and insisted that Mueller found "no collusion, no obstruction." Of course, what Mueller found was no evidence of coordination or conspiracy between Russia and the Trump campaign. Still, he detailed at least 11 instances where obstruction of justice may have occurred.
For his part, Trump said Congress should get back to legislating on infrastructure, cutting more taxes and lowering drug prices.
