Trump: Dems Could Help Fix Immigration System In 15 Minutes

President Trump says the U.S. immigration system could be fixed “in 15 minutes” if congressional Democrats “come to the table in good faith.” Speaking at an opioids summit in Atlanta, Trump called the immigration system “horrible,” “outdated” and “pathetic.”

As part of that, he also defended his plan for a massive border wall and said a wall would stop the flow of illicit drugs into the U.S. He also cheered the work of drug-sniffing dogs and suggested that they perform better than expensive technology.

Saying that that “almost 400 miles of wall” will be in place along the border with Mexico by the end of 2020, Trump proclaimed that it "will have a tremendous impact on drugs coming into our country."
