This weekend WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart added one more milestone to his career that many professional wrestlers can never say happened to them.
A fan jumped the barrier and tackled Hart in the ring during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday night at Barclays Center in New York.
Hart, who was accepting induction for the second time—this time as part of the tag team The Hart Foundation, along with the late Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart—was standing at the podium inside the ring alongside Neidhart's daughter, Natalya, when a fan wrapped his arms around Hart.
And while I would love to show you footage of it, the WWE Network feed of the ceremony goes black the moment you see some weirdo in a hat make contact with Hart.
Anyway, the feed returned moments later with a mob of people subduing the man under a pile as the 61-year-old Hart was able to finish his speech.
Meanwhile, the man at the bottom of the impromptu Battle Royale was 26-year-old Zachary Madsen who was arrested by New York City Police and now faces assault and criminal trespass charges.
