Biden Responds To Alleged Inappropriate Touching

Has former Vice President Joe Biden been a bad boy? Depends whom you ask – but in the last 24 hours, a woman accusing him of being inappropriate already appears to be downplaying the severity of what she says initially occurred.

Former Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores, who was running for lieutenant governor of Nevada in 2014, said that Biden placed his hands on her shoulders, smelled her hair and “plant a slow kiss” the back of her head while they waited to go on stage for a Democratic rally. Taking to the news shows, she maintained that she “felt paralyzed” and was horrified. She also said she ignored the incident because she felt powerless to do anything about his "demeaning and disrespectful" behavior…and that he should step out of the race

Biden’s response? He says he doesn't recall the alleged encounter. "Vice President Biden believes that Ms. Flores has every right to share her own recollection and reflections,” his office says in a statement. “That it is a change for better in our society that she has the opportunity to do so.” Biden is expected to announce a bid for the 2020 presidency soon.
