A Florida man was detained at Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley International Airport after agents with the Transportation Security Administrationdiscovered a rocket launcher in his luggage. The man, who was not identified, was detained by authorities and explained that it was not a functioning weapon.
He told officials thatit was a replica and he had taken it apartso he could bring it back to his home in St. Augustine. He said that he did not realize that TSA regulations ban people from flying with any “realistic replicas of firearms.”
Authorities confiscated the rocket-propelled grenade, and hewas released in time to catch his flight home.
