WH Rejects Security Clearance Document Request

A day after saying he “cooperates with everyone,” President Trumpisn’t. The White House is rejecting Democrats' demands for documents about its security clearance process. The documents are related to the security clearance of first son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The White House says the committee in the House "is not pursuing this under legal grounds." Committee Chair Democrat Elijah Cummings says he will now decide the next steps. And those “next steps?” They’re now more complicated as CNN is reporting that Kushner’s clearance wasn’t the only that Mr. Trump allegedly pushed through. According to the network, the same was done for Ivanka Trump.

As far as Trump is concerned, the "witch hunt continues." At the White House, Trump calls beefed-up House investigations led by Democrats a “disgrace” and labeled it "presidential harassment." Trump said House Democrats should be focused on more important legislative business.
