President Trump has had an emotional weekend. After delivering a marathon, two-hour speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event on Saturday, where he dove into the multiple investigations swirling around him, Mr. Trump took to Twitter to say that he feels he's been “persecuted” during his time in office.
Mr. Trump said after two years of what he calls presidential harassment, "the only things that have been proven is that Democrats and others broke the law." He noted, quote – "the hostile Cohen testimony, given by a liar to reduce his prison time, proved no Collusion!"
The President also said believes he's "an innocent man being persecuted by some very bad, conflicted and corrupt people in a Witch Hunt that is illegal and should never have been allowed to start - and only because I won the election!" Trump added despite all of that, he's had success while in the White House.
