“This is going to be a challenging experience that intensifies the sensation of being alone in deep space something that characterizes Aniara,” said Goteborg Film Festival director Jonas Holmberg.
“The screenings might even raise a couple of questions about the direction in which humankind is headed,” Holmberg added.
It will all happen at the Goteborg Film Festival in Sweden which will be offering moviegoers the chance to see the sci-fi film Aniara (trailer above) inside of a coffin when it premieres on Jan. 27.
Eight volunteers will be sealed inside custom made caskets equipped with screens, speakers and air vents.
