Bonus Segment: Widow of Tattoo Artist Removes Dead Husbands Skin

Her tattoo artist husband passed and Cheryl, his wife, had the skin on his body removed in order to preserve his tattoos so they can be framed and hung on the wall of his studio. It is put into a special formula and cost her $80,000.

"You can hang a picture on a wall. You can do so many different forms of art," she explained to Bay Today. '"A tattoo is something that has been done for hundreds of years. It's just preserving it."

She hired a company called Save My Ink Forever who specializes in the process to preserve tattoos.

"You wouldn't burn or bury a Picasso and that's what some of these pieces are,'" exclaimed Kyle Sherwood, a master embalmer and funeral director of the company.
