Trump, Obama On The Stump Across The Country

Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, it’s clear that neither party is taking the midterm elections for granted. Over the weekend, both President Trump and former President Obama were on the campaign trail stumping for candidates in a number of volatile races.

At a weekend rally in Georgia, Trump called the caravan an “invasion” and blamed it on Democrats. He said voting for Democrats in this week's midterm elections would welcome more caravans and more crime into the country.

Cruising through the Midwest, Mr. Obama struck a similar tone – saying “the character of the country” is at stake. “America is at a crossroads,” Obama said at a rally in Indiana. “You get to vote in what I believe will be the most important election of our lifetimes. I know politicians always say that, but this time it’s really true.”
