Oscar winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. says he’s “having a ball” playing Billy Flynn in the Broadway musical “Chicago.”
“I’m telling you, I’m having a ball,” Gooding Jr. told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning.”
He said he did four months in the West End in London with sold out shows and great crowds, but “nothing compares to Broadway.”
“Every little thing you do they just respond to. It’s been magical,” Gooding Jr. said.
Gooding Jr. also co-wrote and stars in the new film “Bayou Caviar,” which opened on October 5th. He plays a former professional boxer who gets caught up with mobsters after witnessing a crime.
