Dramatic Dog Rescues In North Carolina

People are not the only ones needed rescue in the wake of Hurricane Florence, trapped pets need saving as well. These are two videos that show dogs being rescued in North Carolina.

“If we would have gotten here just a few minutes later, I don’t know if these guys would have made it,” said a member of the Coast Guard. He saved 10 beagles that were still in cages. Video above.

“We got a boat full of beagles!” crew member Tyler Elliott said with a laugh. “This is the best day of my life!”

After being rescued some of the dogs ended up using the boats as their own personal bathrooms. “Is he taking a leak?” said a member of the Coast Guard with a smile. The rest of the group started to laugh.

A man was also filmed rescuing dogs that were trapped in a flooded kennel in the town of Leland in storm-hit North Carolina. Video below.
