The animals on the Nabisco animal crackers box have been behind bars for more than 100 years but no more! PETA wrote in a statement to Nabisco, “Given the egregious cruelty inherent in circuses that use animals and the public’s swelling opposition to the exploitation of animals used for entertainment, we urge Nabisco to update its packaging in order to show animals who are free to roam in their natural habitats.” The new box, shown below, has the animals out of their catches but still has the classic animal crackers box design.
