An illegal immigrant who was detained for several weeks after delivering food to an Army base in Brooklyn is free. A federal judge ordered Pablo Villavicencio's release. The Ecuadorian native had disobeyed an order to leave the country in 2010. The judge said he's been a model citizen, he's supporting his family, and he pays his taxes.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo calls Villavicencio's release "a victory for New Yorkers and for basic human rights."
Our own "Queen of the Streets" Alice Stockton-Rossini visited his home and had the chance to sit down with his wife.
