Former Governor David Paterson says he “never saw any improper conduct” out of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
However, he told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning” that the story alleging abuse by Schneiderman is well researched.
“What was interesting is this allegation must have really caught his office by surprise because you notice he denied any kind of forced sex, but he wasn’t accused of that,” Paterson said.
Paterson has known Schneiderman since 1987 and in 1992 the Attorney General served as the treasurer of Paterson’s campaign.
The former governor said Schneiderman has every right to defend himself. Yet, Paterson said this is going to be very difficult for him to overcome.
