As a board-certified registered dietitian nutritionist and the clinical nutritionist for NYU Langone’s
Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health and the
Center for Fibroid Care, I support women on their journey toward a better understanding of how their diet impacts their body. My specialty in diabetes and metabolism allows me to assist women with blood sugar and weight issues. Through our collaboration, we establish the best dietary approach to help them reach their personal goals. I advocate for women to receive comprehensive care that addresses their concerns and make it a point to discuss how lifestyle habits, mental state, and levels of stress and sleep can affect wellbeing. When I’m not meeting with patients, I support the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine by researching the relationship between diet and gynecologic conditions, such as fibroids and endometriosis. I also teach first-year medical students about nutrition. I am passionate about assisting and empowering women to utilize food and nutrition to support their health. If you are seeking support for gastrointestinal conditions or disordered eating concerns, however, please consider contacting a specialist in one of those areas. I do not treat eating disorders or gastrointestinal conditions myself.
