March 13th marks the 20th anniversary of one of the most iconic cases in UFO history: the Phoenix Lights incident.
That evening, hundreds if not thousands of people living around the city of Phoenix reported spotting an inexplicable formation of lights hovering in the sky.
Some witnesses claimed that they could see that the lights were part of a distinct triangular craft that blocked out the stars as it moved through the sky.
The considerable number of witnesses and documentation of the event spawned enormous media attention and spawned one of the biggest UFO cases of all time.
