White House Take On The Epstein File May Be "Nothing To See Here"

Try as he might, President Trump can’t make the Epstein case file mess go away. His MAGA base has been frantic in its calls to release the infamous child sex peddler’s Department of Justice file, and if there is no client list attached, which may entirely be the case, their howls that somebody is hiding something may only grow exponentially louder. Reagan Reese is the White House correspondent for the Daily Caller. She appeared on 710 WOR’s Mendte in the Morning program to say Trump’s MAGA base may now be at its “make or break” point with their hero- yet some at the White House surprisingly do not see the file as trouble.

Reese did tell host Larry Mendte that the White House and the President have to do something to address the situation or risk losing big in next year’s mid-term elections: “What I had found beforehand was that pollsters and strategists really did not see this Epstein thing going away for Donald Trump. They believed that this was going to have an impact on the midterms, because it was going to make President Trump’s base less enthused… It’s really key that you have that turnout from that MAGA base… so right now strategists and pollsters are kind of sounding the alarm, saying that President Trump and Attorney General Bondi need to rectify the Epstein files fallout.”

However, Reese further postulated that Trump may have painted himself into a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” moment with the existence of the file, despite the optimism from some in the administration: “People want all the answers. They want all the files and they want all the transparency. They don’t want things redacted, and so I think what specifically we get from these grand jury files could help the situation, but if it’s not enough, I think it could still pose trouble.”
